What you'll do

• Recall sheet nests, start the machine, load the cutting table, use a crane to unload it, and label parts
• use a forklift to load a transfer trailer and drive a truck and transfer trailer
• organize the steel yard, identify steel types, measure thicknesses, and label scrap
• read blueprints to cut the correct yield and thickness
• maintain the machine and clean the work area. Advanced tasks include converting DXF files into sheet nests with Mastercam and laying out sheet nests.
