The Unit Head role is onsite in Newton, MA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The seasonal position pays $7,200 for the nine-week season. The Unit Head leads and mentors camp staff while helping ensure campers’ safety, well-being, and positive participation. The role plans and leads activities in a specialty area, supports camp operations, and coordinates staff guidance and communication.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate activities in a specialty area
• ensure camper safety and well-being
• create an inclusive and supportive environment
• partner with counselors and camp leadership
• organize and request supplies
• adapt activities for diverse needs
• support camp-wide events and operations
• supervise, coordinate, evaluate, train, and coach assigned staff
• schedule and lead summer staff meetings.
