The Medical Assistant is an onsite, contract role located in Casper, WY, with a pay range of $18 to $25 per hour. This position is part of the clinical support team for a gastroenterology healthcare provider. This role exists to assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations. The Medical Assistant will maintain accurate medical records and ensure clinical environments are clean and stocked to support high-quality patient care.

What you'll do

• Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and examinations.
• Obtain and document vital signs, draw blood, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records within the EMR.
• Ensure clinical environments are clean and stocked.
