What you'll do

• Read blueprints and technical data
• provide technical assistance to operators and lower-level machinists as required
• perform minor preventive maintenance
• complete complex setups using fixtures and tools
• set up tool holders
• operate machine controls and optimize feeds, speeds, and processes
• save updated programs and documents
• inspect parts using approved measurement instruments
• deburr work in process
• troubleshoot manufacturing problems with peers
• support quality checks, Lean and continuous-improvement projects, and 5S
• follow safety and certification requirements.
