What you'll do
- Respond to dispatched calls on buses, trains, and transit facilities
- engage riders and use trauma-informed de-escalation
- assess needs and distribute basic supplies
- make warm referrals to Canopy Roots advocates or external partners
- when appropriate, accompany riders to shelters, clinics, or intake appointments
- document outreach and referrals
- participate in supervision, case debriefs, and training
- and collaborate with program staff and community stakeholders.
