Activities Assistant

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Wayland, MA, and pays $17–$20.25 per hour. Royal Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides long-term, sub-acute, and memory care, with a stated commitment to resident-centered care. The assistant helps plan and deliver activities that support residents’ intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical interests. What you'll do

• Assist the Activities Director with individual and group activities
• help plan, organize, implement, and evaluate activity programs
• help develop the monthly calendar and written activity plans
• participate in discharge planning, activity care plans, and resident assessments
• schedule programs and parties
• encourage residents to participate in activities of daily living.
