What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair stamping dies used in punch press production
• sharpen and maintain punches, dies, and tooling
• diagnose press-side tooling problems and determine corrective action
• perform precision surface grinding and manual machining
• fit, assemble, and adjust die components
• read prints and work to close tolerances
• use precision measuring tools
• support preventive maintenance and tooling reliability
• collaborate with production to reduce downtime
• document repairs and tooling history.
