Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager works onsite in Chicago, IL, full-time, with compensation of $28–$30 per hour. Working under the Community Manager, the assistant supports daily property operations, resident service, leasing, and financial administration. The role helps maintain occupancy and revenue goals, accurate property records, resident relations, and the quality of the living environment.

What you'll do

• Support rent collection, revenue monitoring, banking activities, and deposits
• maintain OneSite data and prepare leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end records
• assist with occupancy, resident retention, and property financial performance
• process move-in and move-out accounting and vendor invoices
• support leasing, renewals, and resident inquiries
• monitor market activity and Fair Housing compliance
• inspect the property and market-ready units
• assist with service operations and resident relations
• maintain availability for emergencies, on-call duties, resident functions, and weekends.
