Regional Director of Operations – Senior Living

Job overview

The Regional Director of Operations role is remote with extensive regional travel and is based within commuting distance of the Des Moines, IA region. Compensation is a $165,000 base salary plus a 25% annual performance bonus target. Arvum Senior Living serves seniors through assisted living and memory care communities across eight states in the Gulf Coast and Midwest regions. The director leads multiple communities toward operational and financial goals while supporting resident satisfaction, quality care, occupancy, and revenue growth. The role provides oversight and accountability for community leaders, develops regional leadership capacity, and maintains a strong onsite presence across the communities.

What you'll do

• Direct and coordinate community operations in alignment with organizational goals, objectives, and policies. Communicate a resident-focused vision and review satisfaction surveys to develop improvement programs. Hold Executive Directors accountable for community and organizational goals
• partner with them on NOI strategies and occupancy growth plans. Review monthly financial statements and address deficiencies. Monitor competition and industry trends and spend the majority of time onsite in communities. Oversee recruitment, hiring, employee relations, and separations of community leaders
• delegate accountability, foster teamwork, and promote leadership development and best-practice sharing.
