Maintenance Mechanic – Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Hiram, OH, with compensation of $34.10–$36.70 per hour plus a $2.10 per hour night premium on 12-hour night shifts. The technician supports production lines at a food manufacturing plant. The mechanic troubleshoots and repairs production equipment to help keep manufacturing operations running. What you'll do

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• repair and maintain machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• read schematics
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O diagnostics and ladder logic
• perform preventive maintenance and maintain records
• identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes
• request parts and supplies
• and follow plant safety and food manufacturing quality practices.
