Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Levittown, PA, supporting individuals in their homes and communities. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Thrive Community Support Services supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides person-centered assistance with daily living, skill development, and community participation. By following individual support and health plans and documenting services, the DSP helps individuals build independence, meaningful routines, and community connections.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
• support skill development, independence, and self-advocacy
• encourage participation in community activities, employment, and social opportunities
• follow individual support plans, behavioral support strategies, and health plans
• uphold health, safety, rights, and dignity
• complete service documentation
• report changes, concerns, or incidents to supervisors.

Why this role

Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus but is not required. A high school diploma or GED is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
