What you'll do

• Monitor assigned purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
• communicate updated delivery dates and shipment information
• maintain material and purchase-order status in ERP/MRP systems
• identify overdue or potentially late materials
• research shortages and receiving discrepancies
• coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Inventory, Receiving, Production, and Quality
• maintain records and reports
• escalate shortages that may affect production schedules.
