Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Schaumburg, IL. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour. The technician supports PM Mold’s Injection Molding Maintenance department and helps maintain smooth facility operations. The role provides preventative and reactive maintenance for molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and other operational areas. Troubleshooting and timely repairs help maximize equipment availability while supporting safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment
• monitor machinery for signs of malfunction
• diagnose breakdowns and repair equipment promptly
• perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• assist other personnel with troubleshooting
• maintain equipment performance and maintenance records
• communicate potential problems and hazards
• and support a clean, organized, safe work environment.
