The Production Operator, 1st Shift role is onsite in Troy, Alabama. Compensation is not specified. The Troy plant produces peanut butter and supports more than 130 manufacturing and support employees for Post Consumer Brands. The operator runs and monitors automated packaging equipment to keep production safe, accurate, and aligned with product, quality, and food-safety requirements. The role also performs changeovers, routine maintenance, documentation, and issue reporting to support reliable plant operations.

What you'll do

• Operate and adjust packaging equipment to product specifications
• verify packaging materials and date codes
• monitor fillers, cappers, labelers, case sealers, packaging quality, and case printing
• complete production records, downtime logs, and work order requests
• perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, equipment changeovers, and deep cleaning after product changes
• report equipment issues
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety, quality, and food-safety requirements
• support SQF programs and plant operations.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing or packaging experience and mechanical aptitude are preferred. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required as business needs demand. Travel is listed as up to 10%.
