The Director, Research & Data role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with compensation of $222,000–$242,000 per year. Ceribell develops point-of-care EEG technology intended to transform diagnosis and management of serious neurological conditions. The role secures and evaluates clinical and EEG datasets and research partnerships that support development of new indications for Ceribell’s EEG platform. It connects Data Science, Clinical, and external academic and hospital partners so algorithms can be developed and validated using high-quality, clinically characterized data.

What you'll do

• Translate indication needs into data requirements and acquisition plans
• identify research and hospital partners and negotiate data access
• evaluate research proposals and support collaborations
• lead hospital EMR integration efforts
• assess dataset quality and fit
• partner with Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy on data governance and compliance
• support early clinical studies
• maintain data inventories and partnership trackers.
