Mitigation Technician

The Mitigation Technician role is onsite in Daytona Beach, FL, and pays $18–$22 per hour. Paul Davis Restoration of Volusia County helps residential and commercial property owners recover from water, fire, mold, storms, and other damage. The technician performs hands-on mitigation and cleanup work to help restore affected properties safely and efficiently. The role also supports customers during difficult situations through professional communication, accurate job documentation, and participation in the on-call rotation, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday assignments as needed.

What you'll do

• Respond to residential and commercial property-damage assignments
• perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring
• set up, monitor, document, and remove drying equipment
• take moisture readings, complete moisture mapping, and photograph job-site conditions
• remove damaged materials as directed
• assist with fire, smoke, soot, mold, sewage, and storm cleanup
• clean, disinfect, and deodorize affected areas
• maintain job documentation and equipment logs
• use required personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures
• maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
• communicate with customers and project personnel
• participate in the on-call rotation and respond when scheduled.
