Program Manager, Facility Operations

The Program Manager, Facility Operations role is onsite in Lanham, MD. Compensation is $100,000 per year. The position coordinates contract operations at the Harvey H. Wiley Building, a critical-mission facility supporting FDA operations 24/7. The role exists to keep building operations safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant by coordinating facility and custodial teams, contract requirements, work requests, preventive maintenance, and service providers. It serves as the primary liaison among GSA, FDA, Embarq Solutions, and onsite staff, helping resolve issues and improve building performance.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day contract operations and coordinate operations and maintenance and custodial personnel
• administer Maximo CMMS preventive maintenance assignments, work requests, work orders, certifications, and reports
• manage FDA ERIC work requests and coordinate timely completion
• meet weekly with GSA and FDA representatives
• process GSA task orders, RFQs, and RWAs
• submit monthly contract deliverables and weekly operational reports
• conduct monthly quality-control inspections
• oversee service contracts, inspections, testing, certifications, and life-safety equipment requirements
• monitor performance and implement corrective actions.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of experience managing and supervising building operations and maintenance in commercial, institutional, industrial, or government facilities. Maryland First-Class Stationary Engineer License preferred.
