What you'll do

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• perform quantitative material take-offs and labor estimates
• analyze and compare subcontractor and vendor scopes and pricing
• locate and solicit subcontractors and material vendors
• compile accurate estimate files within deadlines
• participate in estimate reviews with operations staff
• assist with bid-to-project transition
• learn and use estimating software.
