Nurse Assistant Intern

The Nurse Assistant Intern role is onsite in Wenatchee, WA; pay is $19–$29 per hour. Confluence Health’s residency program combines classroom learning and direct clinical experience, with care provided under the direction of the registered nurse in charge. Working with a CNA preceptor, the intern assists patients with daily living and basic nursing care while helping maintain a safe, clean environment. The residency supports skill development and patient care, with required CNA licensure and Basic Life Support certification milestones.

What you'll do

• Work with a CNA preceptor and primary care RN to provide patient care
• perform duties within the CNA scope of practice under RN direction
• assist with care routines, vital signs, measurements, meals, elimination, ambulation, and transfers
• obtain delegated finger-stick glucose when permitted
• assist with treatments
• document in patient records
• maintain safety and sanitation
• participate in learning and improvement activities
• maintain BLS certification.

Why this role

Residency is intended for new graduates or nursing assistants with less than six months of CNA experience outside acute care; CNA licensure is required within 90 days of hire and the CNA exam within 14 days of program start.
