What you'll do

• Maintain department policies and procedures.
• Set up equipment and medications and administer respiratory treatments.
• Chart treatment, response, and progress.
• Set up, operate, and monitor ventilators.
• Perform arterial puncture and arterial blood analysis.
• Observe patients and check equipment.
• Obtain and/or document patient vital signs.
• Provide instructions in therapeutic procedures.
• Assure delivery of quality respiratory therapy services.
• Conduct and/or assist with special procedures.
• Provide for proper cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
