School Social Worker

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling
• conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans
• collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
• participate in IEP meetings and special education evaluations and planning
• connect students and families with community resources
• report suspected abuse or neglect as required
• maintain case notes and progress reports.

Why this role

A master's degree in Social Work and current Maryland LMSW or LCSW licensure are required. Experience with school-age children and adolescents is preferred; familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA, special education, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions is sought.
