What you'll do

• Perform asphalt paving, repair, patching, and maintenance
• place, rake, shape, and compact asphalt
• construct joints, seams, edges, and transitions
• identify quality or drainage concerns and communicate them to the Foreman
• assist with site preparation and material staging
• operate hand tools and small equipment
• work safely around paving equipment and traffic
• maintain clean work areas
• help less-experienced crew members develop asphalt techniques.
