The Preschool Teacher — Head Start works onsite in Denver, CO. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after the first 90 days. Clayton Early Learning is a nonprofit serving children from birth to five and supporting families through early education and community programs. The teacher implements a high-quality early childhood program for children ages three to five, supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Classroom instruction, family communication, and adherence to program standards contribute to Clayton’s whole-child, whole-family approach.

What you'll do

• Maintain a safe, warm, and stimulating classroom
• develop individualized care routines supporting children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• collaborate with co-teachers on developmentally appropriate activities
• communicate with families and build relationships
• document feeding, diapering, sleeping, and developmental milestones
• follow licensing, Head Start/Early Head Start, and Educare standards
• sanitize classroom materials and spaces
• support Conscious Discipline practices
• follow Creative Curriculum lesson plans
• participate in role-related training, workshops, and meetings.
