Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney

The Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney role is primarily onsite in Newark, NJ, with one work-from-home day per week permitted and some additional flexibility possible. Compensation is $150,000–$250,000 per year. The attorney joins a boutique practice handling sophisticated commercial real estate and construction matters. The role independently manages transactional matters and closings, advising clients and coordinating with other transaction participants to deliver timely, high-quality legal work across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and real estate finance.

What you'll do

• Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions
• draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements
• handle commercial leasing and real estate financing
• lead due diligence, documentation, and closings
• manage closings independently
• work with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and brokers
• and manage multiple transactions and written work product.
