Maintenance Technician — Washington, DC

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite and field-based across a scattered-site residential portfolio in the Washington, DC metro area. The role manages work orders from assessment through resolution and supports housing compliance, resident communication, and property readiness across multiple sites.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, water heater, carpentry, painting, and general building issues
• prepare vacant units for occupancy
• perform preventive maintenance and exterior upkeep
• maintain housing-standard compliance
• support inspections
• follow safety procedures
• document work orders and repairs
• participate in rotating on-call coverage and respond to urgent requests.
