What you'll do

• Scan patients according to established protocols and physician orders
• perform MRI diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians
• operate MRI equipment to produce images of body tissues
• summarize, document, verify, and present images, findings, calculations, and measurements to physicians
• comply with applicable regulations and protocols
• prepare, administer, and monitor contrast media
• follow precaution standards
• obtain pertinent patient information and provide preparation instructions to patient-care areas.
