This role supports the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) at Compass Health. The role exists to provide compassionate, frontline behavioral health support to children, youth, and families in crisis. The counselor conducts community-based assessments, provides crisis intervention, and links clients to long-term support systems.

What you'll do

• Conduct community-based assessments
• Deliver brief, recovery-focused interventions including counseling, case management, resource linkage, and referrals
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Routinely assess and mitigate risk factors
• Facilitate access to mental health/substance use treatment
• Document services accurately and timely.
