Transition Services Specialist

The role also documents participant progress and helps improve programming to meet applicable transition-service requirements and participant needs.

What you'll do

• Develop and enhance curriculum aligned with MassAbility Transition Services requirements and WIOA Pre-Employment Transition Services
• create lesson plans and materials for career exploration, workplace readiness, self-advocacy, post-secondary planning, and work-based learning
• coordinate camps, trainings, and career exploration
• maintain student records, attendance, plans, progress notes, and outcome tracking
• coordinate job coaching and work-based opportunities
• recruit participants and represent Cape Abilities at transition fairs and community events.
