Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager role is onsite in Lexington, KY, with compensation of $162,000–$203,000 per year. The position may require travel up to 75% of the time, depending on location and geography. Optimum Energy helps hospitals, universities, government facilities, and advanced manufacturing operations reduce energy consumption in heating and cooling systems. The role exists to deliver energy retrofit, new construction, and building projects profitably and to established time, cost, and technical objectives. It manages projects from planning through commissioning, coordinating resources, safety, finances, schedules, and stakeholders to achieve customer acceptance and project goals.

What you'll do

• Oversee construction project execution
• identify resource requirements and coordinate company and customer tasks
• review and communicate project status
• manage submittals and documentation
• facilitate IT connections between the company and customer sites
• manage mechanical completion, startup, and commissioning
• manage costs, change orders, billing, forecasts, risks, and cash goals
• implement site safety procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines
• serve as a customer contact and coordinate with subcontractors and internal partners
• estimate costs and develop schedules using project tools
• support PMO continuous improvement.
