What you'll do

• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans
• provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders
• oversee delegated work
• evaluate care plans and adjust them to patient needs
• use evidence-based practice
• participate in patient conferences
• address discharge and transfer teaching needs
• precept and mentor employees and students
• lead patient placement and assignment delegation
• communicate across the care team. Requires 2+ years of ICU experience, open-heart experience, current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, and an active Michigan RN license
• floating to ED and Step Down units is expected.
