Youth Volleyball Instructor

Job overview

The Youth Volleyball Instructor role is onsite at elementary schools across the Bay Area, with classes in the San Jose area. Pay is $50–$65 per class. Classes run Monday through Friday for 1–1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.; the role is two or more days per week, up to 2–5 hours weekly. CALEX SPORTS helps young learners build interest in volleyball and physical activity. The instructor leads engaging volleyball sessions for students in grades K–5, manages class participation, and uses provided lesson plans. The role also supports safe, organized sessions through equipment setup, attendance and sign-in/out procedures, communication with parents and school staff, and feedback on student progress.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage classes of 8–16 students ages 5–10
• teach volleyball using provided lesson plans

Why this role

Teaching or volleyball experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 19 and have a high school diploma or equivalent; reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula is required. Visa assistance is not provided.
