The Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) role is an onsite position in Charleston, SC, with a base salary of $90,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience. The project manager owns mechanical projects from estimating through closeout, balancing project execution, financial performance, quality, and customer relationships. The role coordinates clients, field teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to deliver owner-direct, design-build, and design-assist work.

What you'll do

• Maintain and grow owner-direct customer relationships
• estimate mechanical work through site surveys and plan review
• lead project setup and buyout
• issue purchase orders
• plan scope, resources, and timing
• coordinate with field superintendents, clients, general contractors, and subcontractors
• identify and price change orders
• coordinate staffing and manpower projections
• manage billings, job-cost reports, forecasts, and invoice issues
• verify quality against specifications
• complete closeout documentation, punch-list items, warranty dates, and final billing.

Why this role
