The Project Surveyor role is onsite in Roseville, CA. Pay is $46.75–$55 per hour. Wood Rodgers is an engineering consulting firm, and this position joins its Survey Department. The surveyor coordinates project work and prepares and reviews survey drawings, maps, legal descriptions, and related documents. The role supports public and private land development projects by turning field information and records into accurate survey deliverables.

What you'll do

• Schedule survey projects and monitor completion
• instruct survey crews on field work
• prepare and review drawings using civil, survey, and computer-aided drafting programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D
• interpret field notes and sketches
• perform and review survey computations
• produce ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Records of Survey, parcel maps, final maps, and related documents
• prepare legal descriptions and exhibits
• compile land title information
• generate topographic surveys and process conventional and GPS data as preferred but not required.
