Perform and document patient assessment, Conduct diagnostic procedures, Administer respiratory care therapies, Assist with placement of artificial airways, Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, Monitor patient for therapeutic response, Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients, Respond to emergent patient situations.
