What you'll do

• Perform general diagnostic radiologic procedures
• verify patient identity and ordered procedure
• position patients and coordinate requirements for safe testing
• maintain sterile conditions for invasive procedures and use appropriate PPE
• apply radiation safety practices and shielding
• follow infection control and HIPAA requirements
• monitor patients, procedures, and equipment
• report malfunctions
• ensure images are processed and archived and records are accurate
• complete related documentation and department tasks.
