The Career Navigator role is an onsite, full-time position in Roswell, NM. Compensation is not specified. Equus provides workforce development services through integrated career centers, sector-focused centers, and community and partner sites, helping job seekers prepare for and advance in careers. The navigator supports SNAP Employment and Training participants as they work toward employment and self-sufficiency. Through case management, career planning, workshops, assessments, job coaching, and coordination with employers and community partners, the role helps participants address barriers and make progress toward their goals.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate participant information in electronic databases
• provide case management to SNAP E&T participants
• manage caseloads and support employment retention
• create and update participant plans
• conduct workshops, webinars, and job-readiness activities
• coordinate online learning with Business Services
• administer assessments
• provide job coaching and support services
• collaborate with area businesses and community agencies
• help participants explore career options and maintain career portfolios
• support individual and group problem-solving.
