What you'll do

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure materials are available for production while minimizing inventory
• manage daily purchasing activities, staff support, purchase orders and task allocation
• coordinate inventory needs with Planning
• review supplier contracts
• maintain supplier contacts, purchase records and documentation
• assist Quality and Regulatory with supplier and raw-material documents in TraceGains
• ensure procured items meet quality standards
• improve purchasing systems and processes
• train new employees on purchasing procedures and systems.
