Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Moscow, ID, with pay of $16.14–$16.95 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week for 37 weeks per year. The Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program supports children’s exploration and learning through classroom activities, play, and meals. The assistant teacher supports the classroom team in children’s learning and daily care. By helping prepare activities, conducting health checks, and assisting with routines such as potty training, the role contributes to a safe, engaging early childhood environment.

What you'll do

• Greet children and families
• assist with preparing activities and lesson plans
• conduct health checks and deliver health curricula
• assist with potty training, which may include diaper changing
• support classroom learning and play activities.
