The Senior Political Coordinator is an onsite, full-time role based in Washington, DC, with additional listed locations in Little Falls, NJ, and Media, PA. The salary range is $66,931–$84,445 per year. The role supports UFCW’s Legislative and Political Action Department and its work to improve the lives and livelihoods of workers, families, and communities. Working with local unions and under the Director’s guidance, this position develops and carries out electoral, legislative, fundraising, and activist programs. It assesses races and candidates, supports member-led outreach and organizing, trains local staff and member organizers, and helps coordinate endorsements and political priorities.

What you'll do

• Develop state electoral plans and analyze competitive races, fundraising, polling, issues, and endorsements
• coordinate electoral, legislative, fundraising, canvassing, voter registration, and member outreach programs with local unions
• train and coach member organizers and local staff
• maintain campaign-law knowledge, training materials, and contact databases
• support candidate assessments, interviews, and endorsement processes
• represent UFCW in coalition settings.
