Job overview

The Kitchen Equipment Service Technician role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with compensation of $28–$35 per hour. The technician supports commercial kitchen equipment across Northstar Restaurant Group and Brassica locations. The role keeps restaurant equipment safe and reliable by diagnosing faults, installing replacement parts, testing repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating equipment status to the lead technician and restaurant leaders. The schedule may include evenings and weekends; typical working hours range from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What you'll do

• Diagnose equipment issues and identify parts
• install replacement parts and test equipment
• perform preventive maintenance in restaurants and on roofs
• learn equipment sequences, safety practices, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• complete basic refrigeration training
• use hand and power tools safely
• communicate maintenance needs and repair status
• study technical resources.
