What you'll do

• Measure and cut pipe to project specifications
• assist with pipe alignment and placement
• prepare pipe for welding, sealing, or connection
• verify slopes and grades using levels, lasers, or related equipment
• connect pipe sections and seal joints
• grade and prepare trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools
• guide and train team members on pipe-laying techniques
• perform other duties as assigned.
