The Irrigation Technician, Levels I–Senior role is an onsite, full-time position at OSU-Stillwater in Stillwater, OK, with a hiring range of $14.50–$24.50 per hour. The technician reports to the Facilities Management Irrigation Supervisor and works with Landscape Services teams. The role supports installation, maintenance, and repair of campus irrigation systems. It helps keep irrigation equipment and infrastructure functional and safe, while coordinating permits, utility locates, maintenance, and tree protection with campus teams.

What you'll do

• Support irrigation installation, maintenance, and repairs
• follow dig permit guidelines and submit permits as needed
• conduct and document irrigation utility locates
• operate irrigation equipment and use shovels and plumbing tools
• adjust irrigation heads, valves, backflows, and drip lines
• assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and winterization
• inspect zones and report issues
• maintain tools and equipment
• support tree protection during construction projects.
