What you'll do

• Serve as a liaison among Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology, referral veterinarians, clients, and other departments
• register and discharge patients
• triage calls
• schedule appointments and manage reminders, no-shows, and cancellations in the EMR
• obtain referral documentation and preregistration paperwork
• assist with prescription and insurance requests
• track client and referral communications
• collect payments
• greet and guide clients
• provide patient status updates
• maintain patient comfort and cleanliness.
