The estimator develops accurate, competitive bids and supports opportunities from plan review through project turnover. Detailed takeoffs, cost development, customer follow-up, and coordination with operations help the contractor pursue and deliver commercial painting and coatings projects.

What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid requirements
• perform digital takeoffs using PlanSwift
• estimate labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, and other costs
• obtain and compare pricing
• prepare estimates, scopes, exclusions, clarifications, and proposals
• track deadlines
• review bids with leadership
• follow up with customers
• maintain bid records
• support post-bid reviews and project turnover.
