The Packager Machine Operator – Packaging and Filling Equipment role is onsite in Pineville, LA, with pay of $18.63–$20.89 per hour. The schedule is the AM shift, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime is available. The role supports Arclin’s manufacturing operation, which produces materials and technologies used across industries. The role exists to keep packaging production safe, efficient, and moving by operating, setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting packaging and filling equipment. The operator also loads correct materials, maintains equipment and the work area, learns production systems, and identifies opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and products.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor packaging and filling equipment
• set up machines and perform changeovers for different tube sizes
• adjust machines to maintain efficient production
• troubleshoot equipment issues
• load correct materials into appropriate machines
• clean and maintain equipment and the work area
• learn production and piping systems
• identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and products
• develop skills across multiple levels of machine operation.
