What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Activities with planning, organizing, developing, and evaluating activity programs
• support group, individual, and independent activities
• chart patient progress and behavior
• escort patients to and from activities
• make regular in-room visits to patients unable or uninterested in group activities
• attend continuing education
• assist with patient evacuation as needed.

Why this role

40 scheduled weekly hours. High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic Life Support and MUSC Safety Care Training required within four weeks of hire; current AHA BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required. Work may extend beyond normal hours and include weekends and holidays.
