The role provides structural engineering leadership for power-beaming spacecraft and the orbital power network. It owns structural architecture, analysis, verification, and testing while coordinating interfaces across engineering disciplines to support spacecraft qualification and flight readiness.

What you'll do

• Own spacecraft structural architecture, load paths, and deployable configurations
• establish structural design and verification criteria and approve flight margins
• direct finite element modeling and analysis
• own structural-thermal-optical performance of precision optical assemblies
• lead vibration test campaigns
• define launch vehicle and separation system interfaces and manage coupled loads analysis
• support systems engineering requirements
• serve as structures technical focal point across disciplines
• prepare proposals, design review, and test documentation
• mentor structures engineers and analysts and establish discipline standards.
