What you'll do

• Administer prescriptions as directed by healthcare practitioners and assist other healthcare professionals within scope
• receive and store supplies, verify stock, and maintain inventory records
• communicate necessary information while protecting patient dignity and confidentiality
• assign daily duties to medication cart nurses
• audit medication carts and medication administration records weekly
• and assign and audit monthly records for changeover and filing. Requires current Texas Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure and current CPR/BLS certification.
