Peer Support Specialist, Adult Mental Health, Part-Time

Job overview

The Peer Support Specialist role is onsite in Louisville, KY, part-time, with either Monday–Friday shifts from 5–8 p.m. or Saturday–Sunday shifts from 9 a.m.–noon or 5–8 p.m.; occasional weekend work may be required. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour. Wellspring supports adults through behavioral health, housing, and employment services. The specialist uses lived experience of mental illness to facilitate recovery through peer counseling, life-skills and illness-management coaching, support with 12-step meetings, social-network development, and community navigation. Home visits and client transportation support access to services and appointments.

Why this role
