What you'll do

• Conduct field and laboratory tests on construction materials, structures, and systems
• inspect work for compliance with specifications and safety standards
• collect, analyze, and interpret test and inspection data
• prepare technical reports
• operate and maintain field and laboratory equipment
• assist with project plans and protocols
• provide technical support to junior staff
• participate in quality control and quality assurance
• communicate findings to project managers or supervisors
